On and on and on went the LIES. Republicans used an off year, sixth year Presidential rotation election to sweep into Congressional power. And there were promises made and NONE of them...none were kept.
This last stunt takes the cake. A Freshman Senator, with two months (that is 2) of experience as a U.S.Senator pushed through an "open letter" to the right wing leaders in Iran, lecturing them on the Constitution, gloating that U.S. Senators would be in office far longer that the President, and then sought to scuttle ongoing negotiations with a country that just happens to be helping the United States right now fight against the most formable terrorist foe today, Issis.
And what do they say, when they are challenged? Senator McCain said "It wasn't thought out too well, everyone was intent on leaving Washington for the weekend because of the snow". Other comments from staffers implied it was a light hearted attempt to kid with the President...like "Can't you take a joke"..
And the joke is on us. Let's say the talks are stopped and Iran goes back to developing a atomic bomb (if they ever were). And Israel ultimately attacks, but because the centrifuges are well protected, they decide to use nuclear weapons. So Russia counter attacks and...the lights go out.
Or, short of nuclear confrontation, Iran is attacked and immediately stops any help they were giving with Issis, who immediately succeeds in conquering Iraq, and turns on Europe, with countless terrorist bombs going off everywhere.
And what about the dirty 47? The Senators who were so moved to action to save us from Obama? I will bet you they are sending your grandchildren to war, to be killed, ruining rhe economy and wrecking what is left of our democracy.
All so they can yet again embarrass the "black bastard" who resides in the White House (their words not mine).
It is no accident that Cotton (interesting name given our Civil War history), is from Arkansas, a confederate state. It is no accident that 47 southern sympathizers are trying to embarrass the President, led by McCain the poorest loser in history. Confederates were traitors twisted by racism ..so are these 47 disgraces to our country....Traitors....
In short, anyone who cares about our country must be sickened by these fools.
